Why did I decide to start this blog?

My younger-wise-making-it-as-a-freelance-artist-sister asked why I didn't have a website to publish my writing online. I explained literary magazines don't like to receive already published works of fiction, to which she said, "then post stuff you don't plan to submit."

The youth has good ideas. Listen to them.

What will you read here?

I'll share travels of stories, funny mishaps, and fiction I don't plan to submit because it's an odd cat that doesn't have a genre or literary home. Speaking of animals, don't let the photo above mislead you. I'm not the crazy dog lady who will write about her dog. I just thought a picture of our dog who likes to chew out the middle of her frisbees then wear them like purses while she sleeps seemed like the best intro to a blog with no specific topic at all.
